Hi, my name is Imogen, and I'm a Communication Designer. I am drawn towards a colourful and vibrant design style, creating lively work with a strong personality. Most of my work focuses on building identity and branding. Since completing my degree, I’ve had the privilege to travel around Europe and the UK to experience the world and explore the design that encompasses it before I started working. Since I’ve been back, I have been focusing on designing small branding projects as well as over a years expereince as a Junior Graphic Designer in the professional field. I am motivated to explore a wide range of design fields and develop skills across areas, learn new ideas and thought processes, and build relationships with creatives to learn from others.

Eme Student App

Eme is a digital app that focuses on building, maintaining, and identifying emotions for kids aged 7-9. Eme stands for ‘emotional me’, the virtual pet that symbolises the children’s own emotional wellbeing to help build and maintain their health. This project is a highlight for my coursework as it was my last big project, and I felt that all the skills and knowledge developed were illustrated in my work and outcome.

Brand Identity

Youth Haven Collective

I was commissioned to develop a logo for a new mental health service. The client had a specific style in mind with reference to photos of a logo illustration and typefaces. I developed a simple design and branding for the client, who provided feedback for revisions and a clearer direction for the design. I then went back to redesign and develop the logo and style guides. My final design was hand-drawn and digitised using Image Trace to produce a sharp deliverable while maintaining the organic style the client desired. Since the logo will be used on digital and print media in different sizes, I developed multiple styles for effective use.

2026 Calendar

This year, I decided to design my own calendar. I wanted to make a design which included aspects I felt I needed in a calendar, such as to–do lists and important dates sections for better visibility at a glance, plus large spaces for each day, as I knew sharing a calendar with my roommates would need enough space for all our events. This project helped maintain my creativity and skills on adobe post graduation.

  •

Zine workshop dedicated to advocating and celebrating queer stereotypes and identity. This was one of my last main projects, and I wanted to design and create a piece that spoke to myself and my personality. I enjoy making zines in my spare time as well as being with friends, which made this project feel personal and valuable to me. This project spanned over the course of 12 weeks, during which I was able to develop a range of applications and artistic development.

Campaign logo with primary and secondary typefaces. This was a collaboration with the brand to make their main logo alongside deliverables for a seasonal campaign. The client was interested in a logo that used a cursive typeface to match the illustrated logo. The final type was developed by manipulating the ‘A’ to add a star shape to its serif and loop.

Harry Beck

A publication celebrating Designer Harry Beck’s invention of the London Underground Railroad Map.  This publication was worked through in InDesign with edited bitmap designs created in Photoshop. I used a combination of old and edited photos to illustrate the history of the designer and my own skills. I also developed skills in printing booklets and print settings during this project.

  • “Overhearing” A Dale Frank Exhibition

An exhibition for artist Dale Frank that visualises his identity through his eccentric and random artwork titles. I wanted to take a contemporary approach to the concept of this exhibit and found inspiration in Frank’s eccentric titles of his work, which he overhears in public. I used vibrant colours from his work to connect the words to the visuals while also creating something new.
